Chasity came to Gold Star in the winter of 2009 and is one of our three floor managers. She had previously coached for 10 years in Texas, teaching all levels from Parent/Tot classes through competitive teams. Chasity began as a gymnast at 8 years old, and in her first days at the gym fell in love with the sport. This attraction has pulled her back even after earning her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, her Bachelor’s in Journalism and Public Relations from Texas A & M, and her previous career in marketing. Chasity now oversees the recreational gymnastics program, coaching a variety of classes including our Girls PreTeam, and has become our in-house expert on integrating children with special needs into classes. She has her USA Gymnastics Safety Certification, plus CPR and First Aid Certifications. To the staff, she is a large part of their primary support system, always available for whatever is needed, whether that be training, guidance, and assistance. We have a much stronger and happier program with Chasity leading the charge.
