Emily D. started working at Gold Star in the fall of 2017, but has been a leader in our Rhythmic program since 2013, working her way up to Level 8. She currently competes on her high school dance team, having trained in ballet since she was in Kindergarten. Emily started in rhythmic gymnast when she was in 3rd grade, and rose to be very accomplished, earning Bronze medals at the State competition in both Levels 6 and 8, going on to win 4th place at Level 6 Nationals. She previously tutored grammar school students, has taught piano, and has completed the “Heads Up!” concussion training. Emily shares her passion for Rhythmic gymnastics with our newest students through her warm and devoted personality. We are excited to now call her “coach”.
