Cheer
Gold Star All Star Cheer combines gymnastics, stunts, and dance in choreographed combinations that are then taken to competitions. What is unique about Cheer is the team aspect. Students work to create amazing performance pieces and then compete together for team awards. Our staff promotes a family atmosphere in which every participant feels included and valued.
Cheer Classes
These high-energy classes provide a gateway to our competitive All Star Cheer Program. Our upbeat and extremely talented staff teach a foundation of skills that will assist students in mastering our spring auditions, or simply as an introduction to the sport.
Cheerleading Classes
Ages 6 – 14 | 45 minute classes
Cheerleading classes teach game cheers, sideline dances, basic tumbling and stunting. Call for a free trial.
Cheer Teams
We have a team for everyone! Our staff will find a place for anyone who is committed to joining our Gold Star’s All Star Cheer competitive program. With competitors ranging from 5-18 years old, everyone is welcome. We train beginner and advanced athletes – team members continue to grow and improve under our staff’s expert instruction. All of our competitive athletes commit to compete throughout the season. Teams offered are Local and Travel. The Local team will compete within the Bay Area and as far as Sacramento. The Travel team will compete locally in California with the possibility of traveling across the country. Practices, however, are scheduled to be reasonable so as not to overtax the athletes both physically and mentally – affording them time to balance the sport with their school responsibilities and family life. Throughout the year, many bonding events will ensure that all members feel they truly belong to GSG. Join our teams and become part of our family.
TEAM EVALUATIONS for the 2024 – 2025 Season Start NOW!
⭐️SKILLS CLASSES APRIL 29-MAY 31
Get ready and stay ready for cheer team evaluations June 2nd! Take classes to improve in your jumps, flexibility, stunts and tumbling. These are great classes for all skill levels and experience. Registration is per class which means you can register for only the dates you can attend. “Skills Classes” are listed under the “CAMPS” section of our class offerings. Register now to save your spot. Space is limited! Email cheer@goldstargym.com if you have questions on what level to attend.
⭐️Cheer Team Skill Evaluations are taking place on June 2nd: Local Teams at 5:00pm and Elite Travel Teams at 7:00pm. Please register your athlete for the Cheer Team Evaluation Day! Register by completing our Season 24 All Star Cheer Application as well as enrolling for the event through our parent portal or by contacting the front desk. Everyone that attends the evaluation date will be placed on a team of their age and skill level. Classes start June 17, 2024. If you miss our main evaluation date on June 2nd, please email ccordero@goldstargym.com, for a make up evaluation date.
