Liz joined the Gold Star staff in the spring of 2022. She began coaching in 2006 and has taught everything from preschool through Level 10. She is certified in CPR & First Aid, SafeSport, Heads Up! Concussion Training, and the USA Gymnastics Safety Course. Liz earned her Bachelors in Communication from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Science in Health and Human Performance from Austin Peay University. As a gymnast she competed through Level 10 where five times she qualified to Nationals, was then recruited to compete in college. Liz now has two daughters who have also joined our GSG family, and it is obvious they have inherited their talent and love of the sport from their mama!
