Kim began coaching the GSG All-Star Cheer team in 2002, and took on the challenge of MiniStars and recreational gymnasts in 2004. She graduated from San Jose State with her Bachelors in Child Development, and has U.S.A. Gymnastics Safety, First Aid and CPR certifications, and a U.S. All-Star Federation Level 5 Certification for Cheer and Dance Teams. Kim has cheered competitively since 1995 with her high school, Pop Warner, and Gold Star. Her teams have qualified for National Cheer Competitions every year since 1998. Her focus and organizational skills have promoted her to a leadership position in our Cheer program. Her extensive knowledge of tumbling and stunting has helped to raise the level of our Mini, Youth, Junior, and Senior Cheer squads. In 2015 she was promoted to our management team, as a Floor Manager, overseeing staff and answering questions of our clients – generally raising the quality of all that is Gold Star by being in the building. Kim has become known as the absolute epitome for outstanding teaching.
