Training Teams

1-2 hour classes, twice per week

These programs are designed for talented students who have been identified in our preschool and recreational programs as interested in and capable of working in a focused manner towards competitive gymnastics. Classes meet twice per week and range in length from 1-2 hours. Participation is by invitation only. If interested please ask at our front desk for an evaluation.

Girls Competitive Teams

Gold Star teams provide the highest level of instruction in a safe environment by caring and experienced coaches. All of our competitive athletes commit to compete throughout California with the possibility of travel across the country. Practices, however, are scheduled to be reasonable so as not to overtax the athletes both physically and mentally – affording them time to balance the sport with their school responsibilities and family life. We strive to make gymnastics a valuable part of the athlete’s life, recognizing that it is just one piece of this amazing time called childhood.

Our large Artistic Compulsory teams perform USA Gymnastics national standard routines, and are the introduction to the first years of competition. Our XCel program combines the excitement of personalized routines with shorter training commitments, and a more relaxed approach to competition. Our Optional teams are our highest level gymnasts at Gold Star and compete under the USA Gymnastics regulations for Levels 7-10.  Participation is by invitation only.
