Alherd started coaching at Gold Star in the fall of 2022 but began gymnastics classes when he was 8 years old. He moved through our Boys Recreational levels and in just two years he was competing on our highest-level Optional Team. He is certified in CPR and First Aid.  He often spends his time outside of the gym drawing and studying wildlife in the great outdoors under the California sun but strangely (and possibly problematically) has an inexplicable distaste for the color yellow.
