Alherd started coaching at Gold Star in the fall of 2022, but began gymnastics classes when he was 8 years old. He moved through our boys recreational levels and joined our competitive team in just two years.  Now Alherd is a member of our highest optional team. He is CPR and First Aid Certified and even though he spends his time outside of the gym drawing and studying wildlife in the great outdoors under the California sun – he has an inexplicable distaste for the color yellow.
