Alys began working at our front desk in the winter of 2024. She has a Bachelors in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College and recently spent a year in South Korea teaching English as a second language to grade school students. She was a competitive swimmer for 16 years through high school and college. All of these experiences make Alys a perfect fit for our front desk – she communicates well through her work as a language teacher; she is patient having taught elementary school, she understands what it means to train intensively in sports; and she is loves to laugh – see what I mean … a perfect fit for Gold Star!
