Ellen began coaching at Gold Star in the fall of 2021, but she has been in the sport since she was seven. She trained on the East Coast and rose to compete at Level 10 – the highest level before the Olympic team! She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College, and is CPR and First Aid Certified. Although she came to Silicon Valley for software development, she could not resist returning to the gym. Her love of gymnastics is second only to her devotion to her adorable puppy named Niko – who we suspect Ellen has taught to cartwheel with perfect form!
