Naima M began coaching at Gold Star in the winter of 2023, but she started gymnastics classes when she was just 18 months at a neighboring club. She rose through the ranks to compete in compulsory levels, and came to GSG to join our highest level Optional Girls Team. In 2022 Naima became Level 8 Regional All-Around champion, winning first place competing against the best gymnasts in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah! She certified in CPR and First Aid, and when not flipping in the gym she is spinning sticks on her drum kit – maybe soon she will invent a new sport … acrobatic drumming!
