Naima began coaching at Gold Star in the winter of 2023, but she started gymnastics classes when she was just 18 months at a neighboring club.  She rose through the ranks to compete in compulsory levels, and came to GSG to join our highest level Optional Girls Team.  In 2022 Naima became Level 8 Regional All-Around champion, winning first place competing against the best gymnasts in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah! 

When not flipping in the gym she is spinning sticks on her drum kit – maybe soon she will invent a new sport … acrobatic drumming!
