Pam

Pam, the owner of Gold Star, began gymnastics classes when she was six, progressing to optional levels of competition. In 1979, she started coaching and replaced beam workouts with dance classes. Pam has taught across the country taking on a different facet of the sport in each gym, including being named a National Instructor for USA Gymnastics in 2015. She has earned a Bachelors in Psychology from Carleton College, a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance from UC Irvine, and a PhD in Dance from Texas Woman’s University. Her dissertation research took her into the public schools where she taught dance for four years before buying Gold Star. Throughout all of her travels her constant companion has been Edgar Huff, her plastic goose.
