Rettie began coaching at Gold Star in the spring of 2022, but she has been a member of our GSG family since before she turned two.  Rettie moved through every level of our MiniStar classes and then into our Junior Stars program.  She has competed on our compulsory and then optional teams and now is a member of XCel. In 2022 she won first All-Around at Regionals on the NorCal State team! She is certified in CPR and First Aid, but really what we all want to know is how her given name Catherine became Rettie. For the answer, you will have to ask her brother – he’s the one who invented her nickname!
