Sydney began coaching at Gold Star in the summer of 2025, but she has been a part of the GSG family since the day she was born.  Her parents are both original staff members from the gym’s founding date. Sydney was 3 when she took her first “official” gym class, but quickly moved to Tiny Cheer and spent the next 4 years competing on our All-Star Cheer teams. At age 7 she switched back to gymnastics where she worked through our entire girls program and onto our Compulsory and Optional teams.  All of this training is especially impressive when you realize that her commute to the gym is three hours round trip! On a good day!
