 Tanya started working at Gold Star in the fall of 2023 but has been coaching gymnastics since the year 2000.  She has a BA in Physical Education from Zaporizhzhia State University in Ukraine, is certified in CPR and First Aid, and holds USA Gymnastics Safety and Hands-On Training Certifications.  She has taught in several gym clubs around the Bay Area inspiring children from preschool through advanced levels.  Tanya took a few years off to help train her daughter to become a competitive high jumper and her coaching resulted in a GOLD medal at the California Interscholastic Federation State Meet for Track & Field and a scholarship to college. That is some high jumping!
