Vanessa began coaching at Gold Star in the fall of 2025 but has been a gymnast since they could walk! They trained at other local clubs advancing to compete as a compulsory level gymnast. Vanessa came to GSG as an optional athlete and over the four years on our team competed Level 8 and trained at an impressive Level 9. Now they have traded twisting through tumbling to spinning yarns by writing stories. Vanessa admits that they especially like collecting unusual words … that sounds numinous! perfectly mirifical! (both mean magically wonderful)
